RU POV: Russian advances on Day 774 of the war - Suriyakmaps

As mentioned in this post, Russia had allegedly taken over most of Bohdanivka, which has now been confirmed. Ukrainian forces were pushed out by Russian assaults from the southern field, and now only control a handful of houses and barns in the town. Recent reports also suggest Ukraine may have completely abandoned these as well to pull back to Kalinina, however like before, this has yet to be confirmed.

Russia is attempting to move through the forests south of Chasiv Yar, similar to how it advanced in the north, although with less success. Ukraine will likely try slowly retreat back towards the canal and the trenches built in and around it, buying time for the town's defence.

Interestingly, Russia made an unexpected advance towards Novokalynove (north of Avdiivka). Fighting in this area had been minimal up until now, as the attention was on the city of Avdiivka, and then the Berdychi-Tonenke defence line. Russian forces likely saw an opportunity to advance given Ukraine has concentrated its forces on the defence line, and captured the buildings on the south-eastern edge of the village. Capturing Novokalynove is unlikely to affect what is going on at the first Ukrainian defence line, however it would pave the way for an attack on Ocheretyne to the west (a Ukrainian military hub).

As mentioned in this post, with Pervomaiske almost entirely under Russian control, Ukraine is unable to properly reinforce or contest the fields to the north of the town. Russian forces will likely continue advancing in these fields, and to the west, aiming to force Ukraine out of the area on their side of the reservoirs/river (pic below).
