Russian forces captured over half of Umanske and the eastern fields within the last 24 hours, as can be seen in these 2 videos. This advance happened quite quickly, with Russian forces overwhelming and driving Ukrainian troops out of their positions with drones and an infantry assault over the course of a day. From here, Russia will push west to capture the rest of the village, before turning its attention to the fields to the north.

After a week of exchanges and positional combat, Russian forces managed to capture more of the fields north of Netailovo. With Russia controlling over half of Netailovo and Umanske, Ukraine is unlikely to be able to hold their positions in the area east of the reservoirs and river, as they only have 1 route in or out.

Further south, Russia continues to clear the minefields near Pervomaiske, as discussed here.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.26 km²

Top Advance = 0.15km2, Middle Advance = 0.03km2, Bottom Advance = 0.08km2

The situation continues to worsen for Ukrainian forces in Krasnogorivka. Over the past day, the eastern Russian force managed to advance right up to the hospital, where clashes are ongoing. Simultaneously, the southern Russian force has pushed further along the central road, and has captured the last of the buildings of the southern suburbs.

These advances have meant that Russia has practically encircled the Ukrainian forces in the eastern trenches and apartment buildings on the eastern outskirts. Russia does not currently physically control the whole encirclement, despite some Russian claims, but they do have fire control over the 700m span between the eastern and southern Russian forces.

It is unknown how many Ukrainian forces got trapped in this area, but those that did are left with the options of trying to break out under heavy fire, or to surrender. Ukraine's forces in the rest of Krasnogorivka are too understrength to try break them out from the other side, and are currently occupied with trying to hold back the Russian advance in the centre of the town. We'll likely see the fate of the Ukrainian forces in this area confirmed within the next 2 days.

On a side note: yes I am aware of the intense shelling and bombardment going on along the Kharkiv/Sumy border right now (as of writing this comment). We do not have any outcomes from this, nor reports of any Russian assault, so I would caution against saying the northern offensive has started yet. Russia may spend several days softening Ukrainian positions up, or it could also be faking an imminent assault in order to draw more Ukrainian forces north, and not attack until later this month/early June.
