Russian forces have recently become much more active along the south Donetsk front, following the capture of Paraskoviivka yesterday.
In the north, Russian forces pushed south out of Pobjeda, capturing a large field, as well as part of a treeline north of Paraskoviivka. They are looking to squeeze Ukraine out of the area between Pobjeda and Paraskoviivka, now that Ukraine has lost control of the village. This will likely occur over the next few days, as Ukraine simply does not have the soldiers in this area to try hold exposed positions in those fields.
Around Kostyantynivka, Russian forces made a large, rapid advance towards the town from the south, capturing a large chunk of the fields. Ukrainian forces were unable to hold any of the treelines or fields, and thus have been forced back into positions in the town itself. Russian forces will likely look to repeat what they did in Novomykhailivka, by continuing their advance west and occupying positions all along the south side of the town, as well as advancing north of the river to capture the microdistrict.
