Following on from Picture 6 in yesterday's update, Russian forces have captured a large portion of the fields east of Pishchane, as well as most of the southern side of the town. For now Ukrainian forces are holding the riverline that splits the town in 2, however Russian forces do not necessarily have to cross within the town, already having a foothold on the other side to the northeast.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.93 km²

Advance = 0.93km2

To the east of Makiivka, Russian forces have captured more of the fields between the 2 spearheads of their assault forces. Russia will likely commence an assault on the village itself within the next few days, aiming to take over at least the eastern half.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.37 km²

Top Advance = 0.07km2, Upper Middle Advance = 0.10km2, Lower Middle Advance = 0.09km2, Bottom Advance = 0.11km2

On the Toretsk front, Russian forces have made a number of smaller gains in several areas. To the north, Russian forces cleared more of the eastern streets of Druzhba. In Pivnichne, Russian forces continued moving up the southern road, and have taken over more of the highrise buildings. Ukrainian forces were recorded shelling Russian positions with a tank, which quickly withdrew back to the north. Just southwest of there, Russian forces have also crossed over into the westernmost suburb of Pivnichne, taking a foothold in the first few buildings.

At the bottom of the map, Russian forces used the focus on the fighting in the towns to the north to make an opportunistic advance near the 2014 Ukrainian defence line, capturing part of the village of Pivdenne/Chyhary. This village has had split control for the past 10 years, being right on the frontline. Russian forces here will likely try capture the last small section over the next few days, although it will provide them little tactical or strategic benefit, as a decade of fighting has left it in ruins.
Russian Forces Advance: 2.14 km²

Top Advance = 0.04km2, Middle Advance = 2.10km2

West of Ocheretyne, Russian forces made a small advance in Yevhenivka, capturing a few more buildings. To the southwest, Russian forces managed to capture the fields up to the riverline, with Ukraine pulling back to its main defence line on the Vovcha river. Whilst Russian forces can technically try to breach the Ukrainian defence line in this area, being right next to one of the bridges, they will likely turn their attention south to Novoselivka Persha (blue dot at bottom of map).
