Russian Forces Advance: 5.49 km²

Advance = 5.49km2

Following on from yesterday's update, Russian forces continued their push north of Pishchane, capturing another small trench network (close to the one from yesterday), as well as a number of fields and treelines. Russian forces in this area are exploiting the weak/unresponsive Ukrainian forces here, and are wrapping around behind their positions. From here, Russia can either continue advancing behind Ukraine's defence positions near Kyslivka (red dot above m), or start moving west across a broad front).
Russian Forces Advance: 2.69 km²

Left Advance = 2.31km2, Right Advance = 0.38km2

Russia reactivated operations around Zaliznyanske (middle red dot, its north of Bakhmut), advancing through the fields both northeast and northwest. This area has been stagnant for a long time, with the last territorial change here taking place in early April 2023 during the battle for Bakhmut. The front line had settled along the stream running just outside the village, and both sides have been content to leave it there whilst battles raged elsewhere (Chasiv Yar, Siversk).
Its unknown at this stage whether this is yet another opportunistic advance by small groups of Russian forces, who saw a weakness they could exploit, or part of a new direction of attack. If this is the latter, they will likely try push along the north towards Bondarne and Vasyukivka.
Russian Forces Advance: 4.10 km²

Top Advance = 2.59km2, Bottom Right Advance = 1.51km2

Returning to the Russian advances west of Ocheretyne; Russian assault groups have continued moving along the railway, capturing the eastern part of Vesele (top red dot), and closing in on Zhelanne (bottom blue dot). From field reports, it looks like Russia plans to try establish a foothold in Zhelanne, before redeploying Ukrainian units can properly set up defensive positions. There are already some reports of fighting on the outskirts of the village, however I cannot verify this (yet). Ukrainian units in this area have been quite public about how it is going, with the 47th Mech Brigade stating they are in "Deep shit"

To the south, Russia has restarted advances west of Umanske, as Ukraine begins to pull its units back from the west side of the Vovcha river.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.34 km²

Top Advance = 0.34km2

Russian forces continued their advances in Krasnogorivka, capturing most of the remaining part of the central town area, and setting up along the riverline. Ukraine launched another small counterattack on the southern suburbs of the town, almost identical to the one from a few weeks ago. This counterattack will likely go the same way as the last one, with Russian units pushing Ukrainian forces out.

Russia will likely continue their advance through the northeastern suburbs, and start preparing to advance through the fields to the west, once they have consolidated their positions in Krasnogorivka.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 0.18 km²

Bottom Advance = 0.18km2

Russian Forces Advance: 2.22 km²

Top Advance = 0.43km2, Bottom Advance = 1.79km2

Around Kostyantynivka, Russian forces launched a large mechanised assault, captured some treelines and positions south of the town. Part of that mechanised assault can be seen in this video, however the numerous cuts, and some old footage spliced in, make it very difficult to understand what occurred.

To the south, Russian forces conducted more assaults towards the O0532 road, capturing a few Ukrainian trenches, and defeating the defending soldiers. Part of this advance can be seen in this video here, involving coordinated attacks by drones and a couple of IFVs.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.36 km²

Advance = 0.36km2

Russian forces made a small advance north of Robotyne, moving towards one of the Ukrainian trenchlines in this area. The slow advance and grind in the Robotyne salient will continue for many months longer.
