Russian Forces Advance: 4.03 km²

Left Advance = 0.37km2, Bottom Left Advance = 3.47km2, Lower Left Advance = 0.19km2

Starting off on the Sumy front, as part of the ongoing back and forth on this front Russia once again starting counterattacking in and around Oleksiivka, recapturing the remaining houses of the village following Ukraine’s previous failed assault and also pushing west back towards Andriivka. As I’ve covered a few times before I don’t expect much to come out of this, as both sides have few units in this area and do not have the troops required to launch larger attacks/pushes.

To the east, some smaller clashes kicked up in the tiny village of Varachyne, which as I’ve mentioned many times this year should be shown as greyzone. There is basically no cover in the ruins of the village so Ukraine and Russia take turns sending infantry groups in who even if successful in clearing the ruins will leave shortly after, only for the cycle to repeat.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.19 km²

Advance = 0.19km2

Over on the northern front, in the forest west of Vovchansk, Russia is continuing its efforts to expand their control, pushing west into the first houses of Prylipka. The village itself has been on the frontline for over 1.5 years now but has seen minimal movement as there is not much cover there, so most of the garrison will be hiding in the adjacent forest. Thus this is more of a battle for this part of the forest rather than for Prylipka.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 8.77 km²

Left Advance = 6.64km2, Bottom Left Advance = 2.13km2

Moving onto Kupyansk, after months of attacks across the front Ukraine has finally begun to make some headway in pushing back into the town, capturing all the greyzone on the west and south sides (including the villages of Moskovka and Sobolivka), as well as pushing into the western streets and warehouses with their assault groups. Heavy clashes are occurring all over western Kupyansk as their forces aggressively attack back into the locality and try to force Russia back. Ukrainian sources claim they are in control of the majority of Kupyansk, but that has not been confirmed by any footage so far.
Russian Forces Advance: 6.98 km²

Left Advance = 6.72km2, Lower Left Advance = 0.26km2

Heading down the Pokrovsk front, over the past couple of days Russian troops have started to push out into the former salient area, recapturing a number of fields and treelines, as well as reaching the outskirts of Nove Shakhove and Ivanivka. They are taking advantage of Ukraine losing control of Shakhove and shifting several units to counterattack into Rodynske and Pokrovsk, thus weakening this area.
Russian Forces Advance: 2.48 km²

Picture 5: Advance = 2.48km2

Down south, Russian forces have cleared the railway area between Pokrovsk and southern Myrnohrad, as well as the adjacent treelines. At absolute widest (northwest to southeast) the encirclement is just 6.5km, whilst at its thinnest it is just 2.8km. Depending on the source Ukraine has anywhere between a few hundred to a thousand soldiers trapped inside, although I doubt there are that many left due to the intense bombardment the city has undergone over the past month.
Russian Forces Advance: 7.67 km²

Picture 6: Left Advance = 3.83km2, Middle Left Advance = 3.84km2

Heading out to the west side of the Zaporizhia front, following their flanking attacks and constant pressure (see previous post), Russia has made key progress in it’s assault on Stepnohirsk. On the west side of the town centre they have secured the treelines near the E105 highway and warehouses along the western edge of the settlement, preventing the Ukrainian garrison from retreating to Prymorske (northwest).

To the east, other Russian assault groups have secured the houses on the eastern outskirts of the town and pushed up to occupy the treelines along the last supply road into Stepnohirsk, cutting the garrison off. These groups also cleared and captured the large trench networks on the southwest side of the solar farm. Thus the remaining Ukrainian troops in Stepnohirsk are now trapped inside the central highrises, with no viable way of getting out.
Russian Forces Advance: 8.11 km²

Picture 7: Top Right Advance = 5.99km2, Bottom Advance = 2.12km2

Following on from picture 2, over the past week Russian assault groups cleared the final streets of Vovchansk, pushing out the last Ukrainians and capturing the town after over 1.5 years of fighting. Russia will need to expand out into the surrounding area to prevent any possible Ukrainian push back into Vovchansk, but for now they are working on consolidating their positions.

Whilst this was going on, to the southwest Russian assault groups from the town have pushed deeper into the village of Vilcha, establishing a foothold on the northern side.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.91 km²

Picture 8: Advance = 0.91km2

Moving to the Siversk front, after a couple of days of clashes Russian assault groups have established a small foothold in eastern Sviato-Pokrovske. They are currently pushing deeper into the village, aiming to capture it and cut off supply to Siversk.

Russian Forces Advance: 1.96 km²

Picture 9: Upper Middle Advance = 1.77km2, Middle Advance = 0.19km2

Onto the Chasiv Yar front, after their capture of Maiske last week Russian troops have moved into the surrounding area, capturing several treelines near the village and the railway to the south.
Russian Forces Advance: 2.02 km²

Picture 10: Top Left Advance = 1.64km2, Bottom Left Advance = 0.38km2

Heading to the Kostyantynivka front, within the city, Russia has begun to bring in more troops, securing many of the eastern streets (were greyzone) and the trench networks just outside the locality. The DRGs that have been present in Kostyantynivka are still active and moving north, but now a small number of assault groups have joined them, expanding the Russian foothold.

To the south, Russian infantry groups are continuing to slowly clear the forest area north of the Kleban-Byk reservoir, slightly expanding their control.
Russian Forces Advance: 1.91 km²

Picture 11: Advance = 1.91km2

Following on from picture 5, north of Myrnohrad Russian troops have continued to tighten the encirclement, taking up positions in the farms right outside the city.
Russian Forces Advance: 5.90 km²

Picture 12: Advance = 5.90km2

Moving to the Hulyaipole front, Russian assault groups cleared the last houses into Dobropillya, taking control of the village. Shortly after Ukraine released its own video claiming they still held the village, so we now have another messy flag battle. I will note that even Ukrainian sources acknowledge fighting is now occurring in Varvarivka (next village south of Dobropillya), so unless the Russians entered it from the southeast they would have had to have come from Dobropillya.
Russian Forces Advance: 2.83 km²

Picture 13: Upper Left Advance = 0.29km2, Middle Left Advance = 2.54km2

Following on from picture 6, Russian assault groups pushed deeper into Stepnohirsk and are now working to clear the central highrises. Given how well fortified they are and the number of buildings, even if Ukrainian troops are cut off here it will take a while for Russia to clear them.

Southeast, other Russian troops are working on expanding the buffer southeast of the time, clearing a few treelines as they move east.
Russian Forces Advance: 1.72 km²

Picture 14: Top Left Advance = 0.95km2, Lower Middle Advance = 0.77km2

Following on from picture 8, Russian assault groups captured more of Sviato-Pokrovske, with fighting now taking lace over the centre of the village.

To the northwest, Russian assault groups have entered Dibrova, where clashes are currently taking place. The capture of the village will allow Russia to flank Siversk from the south and potentially cut the garrison off from supply.

Russian Forces Advance: 2.76 km²

Picture 15: Advance = 2.76km2

Following on from picture 12, Russian assault groups entered northern Varvarivka, where they are currently working their way south through the houses. The settlement is the last one on the east side of the Haichur River (aside from Hulyaipole)not under Russian control, so it’s capture would allow them to increase pressure on the town and also start working on crossing the river.
