Russian Forces Advance: 32.84 km²

Heading straight into the Kursk region, Russian advances in their counteroffensive on the west side of this front continue. Russian assault groups continued their progress from the previous day, expanding control of the fields south of Obukhovka, and entering the outskirts of Tolstyi Lug (top orange dot) and Darino (bottom red dot). Heavy clashes are ongoing in those 2 settlements, as well as around Liubimovka (blue dot above orange dot), as Russia tries to dislodge Ukraine from their positions in the area. More videos are coming out from the first few days of the counteroffensive of captured and killed personnel Ukrainian personnel, belonging to the units that were overrun in the initial Russian assaults (Video 1, Video 2, Video 3).

On the eastern side of the front, Ukrainian troops recaptured the eastern side of Cherkasskoe Porechnoe, undoing the Russian gains here from last week.

To the south, Ukraine re-entered Borki yet again, capturing part of the western side of the village. There is a lot of back and forth in this area, with Ukraine and Russia both unable to consolidate positions, and being driven back and counterattacking the other. Part of these battles can be seen in this video.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 5.90 km²

Advance = 5.90km2

Following on from their advances south of Chasiv Yar last week, Russian forces continue to advance east of the canal, driving Ukraine back to positions on the western side. Russian troops captured most of the fields and forest area southwest of Ivanivske (just off map north), with Ukraine pulling out of the remaining area. These areas of greyzone will almost certainly fall under Russian control soon, we just haven’t had complete confirmation of their control just yet.

As mentioned previously, the advances in this area relate to Ukraine’s decision to redeploy the 93rd Mechanised Brigade (who were deployed here) to Pokrovsk, leaving the remaining Ukrainian units vulnerable to Russian attacks.
Russian Forces Advance: 2.15 km²

Top Advance = 0.97km2, Middle Advance = 0.38km2, Bottom Advance = 0.80km2

Over in Ukrainsk, Russian troops continued making progress in and around the town, captured a most of the southern and central area today (932), as well as capturing some of the fields and treelines on the northwestern side of the town. Ukraine’s remaining troops in Ukrainsk are holed up in the mine complex, slag heap and train station areas, and have effectively been trapped by Russian forces (NOT encircled yet).

I mentioned this exact scenario happening in a comment a few days ago if Ukraine did not pull out, which has now occurred for at least some of their troops. The remaining Ukrainian troops in this area will almost certainly attempt to breakout/retreat under fire along the main road within the next day or 2, as they have no other realistic options. Ukrainian troops not in Ukrainsk could try unblocking the north or south sides to help in their retreat, however this seems unlikely at this late stage.
Ukrainian Forces Advance: 6.50 km²

Left Advance = 3.10km2, Right Advance = 3.40km2

Following on from Picture 1, we finally have more confirmations/evidence of Ukraine’s attacks into Kursk around Veseloe, after it began a few days ago. From the (delayed) footage we do have (Video 1, Video 2), a Ukrainian mechanised column, with tanks, IFVs, and engineering vehicles (IMR-2) broke through the border south of Glushkovo (west of the Russian counteroffensive), heading towards Veseloe. They have captured the abandoned/former settlement of Novyi Put, as well as the fields and treelines around it, and expanded the greyzone up to the edge of Veseloe.

Russian troops have not been sitting idly by as this happened, and were striking at the Ukrainian assault force, killing troops and destroying several vehicles (Video 1, Video 2, Video 3). Reports of Ukrainian progress are still all over the place and conflicting, which is not helped by both Russia and Ukraine delaying the release of footage from this area by several days. For now, what can be confirmed is the advance shown on the map, and the fact that heavy clashes are ongoing around Veseloe.

The goal of the Ukrainian advance into this area is to relieve pressure for their troops on the main part of the front by forcing Russia to send some of its counteroffensive units here. The claims that Ukraine is doing this to ‘cut off’ the Russian grouping south of the Seym River do not make sense, as Russia has re-established a land connection to Korenevo in its counteroffensive, and there are many pontoon bridges that have been established that Russian troops can use to traverse the river.

To the east, Russian troops were confirmed to have advanced into the western side of Liubimovka, with heavy clashes ongoing for the rest of the village. Clashes continue in Darino (south) as well, with no confirmable change in control.
Russian Forces Advance: 2.90 km²

Advance = 2.90km2

On the Oskil River front, Russian troops have expanded their control around Pishchane, capturing several treelines and fields north of the town. No assaults have occurred into the Ukrainian defences around Kolisnykivka yet, as Russia looks to be securing its flanks before attempting to take the towns along the main road.
Russian Forces Advance: 2.24 km²

Advance = 2.24km2

Northeast of Kupyansk, Russian troops continue to expand their control around Synkivka, capturing a chunk of the forests south of the village, and reaching the outskirts of Petropavlivka. Russian claims of capturing a chunk of the town already are pre-emptive, as they’ve only just reached the outskirts, however at least some of Petropavlivka has already fallen into the greyzone, as Ukraine has pulled back to stronger positions around the river.
Russian Forces Advance: 2.06 km²

Advance = 2.06km2

Back to the Chasiv Yar front, Russia continued its advances around the canal capturing several fields and the forest area, as Ukraine is driven back to the western side of the canal. The goal of these advances is to expand the surface area Russia controls along the canal, providing new crossings it can use for troop movements towards/into Chasiv Yar.

The village of Hryhorivka has fallen into the greyzone, as the situation there is unclear. Ukraine has pulled out of the surrounding area, and Russian sources claim they control the village already, but there is a lack of footage/evidence to confirm this. This will likely be clarified over the next few days.
Russian Forces Advance: 1.22 km²

Advance = 1.22km2

Following on from Picture 2, Russian troops were confirmed to have cleared the forest area north of their initial advance, leaving the southern area left to clear.
Russian Forces Advance: 0.74 km²

Top Advance = 0.30km2, Bottom Advance = 0.44km2

On the Vuhledar front, Russian forces launched assaults west from Vodyane, following their capture of the town a few days ago, towards the Number 3 Mine complex. Russia began the day by heavily bombarding the area, seen in these videos (Video 1, Video 2), before mechanised assault groups attacked. At least 2 separate assault groups reached the mine, landing on both the eastern and southwestern sides. Clashes continue for control of the complex, as Ukrainian troops try to maintain their hold.
